Celebrating our Athletes and Coaches

The Hall of Fame was generously donated by the family of DeMaurice and Karen Smith to honor all of the students, coaches, and families who embrace the role of athletics in the development of our young men and women. 

The Hall of Fame was unveiled and the first honorees were inducted during Homecoming & Reunion on October 15, 2016.

2024 Hall of Fame Inductees

Alex Zurn '09

Alex Zurn, a 2009 graduate of St. Andrew’s, was named all-conference in four different sports during his Upper School career, earning All-MAC recognition in basketball, soccer, baseball, and track and field. He went on to play collegiately at Gettysburg College where he scored more than 1,000 points in his career. Click here to read more.

Kendall White '94

Kendall White's dominance on St. Andrew’s tennis courts began as a seventh grader, when she played at No. 2 singles on the varsity team. She was part of teams that won back-to-back PVAC Championships in 1992 and 1993. Individually, she earned All-League Honors and was an Honorable Mention All-Met selection as a senior. Criteria for St. Andrew’s Athletics Hall of Fame Nomination

  • Individual Athletes

    A St. Andrew’s athlete or team are eligible to be considered for selection five years after graduation. In special circumstances an athlete who played for, but did not graduate from, St. Andrew’s, may be considered for induction. All athletes considered for election must have demonstrated outstanding athletic performance, sportsmanship, leadership, integrity, and teamwork at St. Andrew’s.

    The Selection Committee may consider post-St. Andrew's activities including college, professional, and life experiences. The Selection Committee may consider other factors including the following accomplishments: All-league, All-Metropolitan designation, any individual and/or team championship, any record and/or winning streak, league leader, Division I athletic scholarship. The Selection Committee may consider nominees from the previous three years.
  • Teams

    A team that wins its league and/or state championship may be considered for induction after five years. Teams that win consecutive championships may be considered for collective induction after five years.
  • Coaches

    Coaches with more than 10 years of St. Andrew’s coaching experience may be considered for induction. Nominees will have demonstrated commitment to the mission and direction of the school, superior coaching ability and performance, commitment to the personal growth and broad success of their players, and leadership and mentorship of colleagues.
  • Other Nominees

    Other employees or supporters of the school who have had a profoundly positive impact on St. Andrew’s athletics may be considered for induction.
